Rosebank is a holiday cottage nestled in the Forest of Dean which lies between the rivers Wye and Severn. A wonderful location for exploring the local sights and the great outdoors.
The cottage boasts a good sized secure garden with a grass lawn and plants offering colour all year round. Garden furniture is provided for those that fancy a bit of alfresco dining or to simply sit and enjoy the garden and woodland views.
Rosebank has been tastefully renovated offering our guests an enjoyable and comfortable stay with vast woodland on its doorstep. If you are looking for somewhere cosy to relax and unwind with woodland views from every window or a base with central access to many outdoor pursuits then look no further. The Cottage comfortably sleeps four, is child and dog friendly and has bike storage facilities.
Thank you for a lovely break. The cottage is perfect – a really cosy home from home. We enjoyed walking in the woods outside the cottage and exploring further afield – Clearwell Caves, Puzzlewood, Symmonds Yat Rock, the sculpture trail at Beechenhurst. The cottage makes an excellent base. We’d recommend the Saracens Head at Symonds Yat for a hearty lunch after a long walk. We will recommend the cottage to friends and family.
After a particularly difficult year health wise we both needed a totally relaxing, rejuvenating experience and Rosebank Cottage delivered this over and beyond all our expectations! The cottage has been beautifully restored and the exceptional attention to detail ensured that all our possible needs were catered for. We will definitely be returning here next year and will book this as soon as we get home. It was lovely to meet Jane and to be able to thank her personally for a perfect holiday.
My sister and I (and Jackie too) have had a wonderful stay here at Rosebank. We came away to relax from a lot of stress at home. And relax we certainly we did. It was like ‘home from home’. Jane and Paul are so welcoming. We fell in love with this beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings. (And thank you for our welcome treats). We’ve had a little Robin show up, everywhere we went. So we know our beloved ‘late’ Dad has enjoyed it with us too. We liked it very much and we can’t wait to come back.
